To me, photos are a way to preserve an image so that we can savor a moment for much longer. I've been stopping time via photography for over 20 years. I started my photography endeavors working with 35mm film, but moved to the digital format and I now work almost exclusively with digital images. I shoot in color and black and white, but my goal is to keep post-processing to a minimum.
I enjoy teaching photography classes, as well as leading photo walks and networking with photographer friends to shoot or exchange ideas.
The inspiration for my photos usually strikes through my travels around the region. I live in the Twin Cities metro area in Minnesota but I have a working list of places near and far that I will photograph. I am also available for contract work upon request.
I primarily use Nikon gear, which includes a NIkon F100 film body. Most of my work is done with a digital SLR.
I do sell prints of my work, an am available for hire to photograph buildings, bridges, sunrises and sunsets as well.
